Living a powerfully engaged life requires that you check in and notice how you are feeling? How is your energy? What do you need right now to come back into balance?
There are times when you have been burning the midnight oil, working long hours on a project, taking care of a sick loved one or just having a hectic schedule of activities and projects. If this is true for you then you may need a period of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation to come back to balance and to feel fully replenished, balanced and fully engaged with your life again. How do YOU achieve rest, relaxation and rejuvenation?
Go to bed early, read a book, have a weekend with no scheduled commitments, watch a movie, take a bath, have a massage, walk on the beach……
OR maybe you are experiencing a period in your life that feels stuck, not moving forward, you feel lethargic and foggy. Maybe you have a job that requires sitting all day at your desk and computer and you are not moving your body. If this sounds like you then I would recommend doing something stimulating and energizing. Take a walk outdoors, dance or do aerobics, play tennis, swim or engage in any type of exercise that you love. Take a cool shower. Move your body, breathe deeper, schedule time with a friend to share what’s on your mind, watch a stimulating movie or documentary…………..How do YOU achieve balance when you are feeling sluggish and lethargic or stuck?
